Christian Grøm is appointed new EVP Director of Risk Management at Eksportfinans. He comes from a position within Group Risk Analysis in Group Finance and Risk Management in DnB NOR Bank ASA and joins Eksportfinans on May 1, 2009.
Christian Grøm is currently involved in risk management related to credit risk, operational risk and capital analysis. This includes stresstesting in relation to Basel II, ICAAP and concentration risk. He has held different positions within financial control, risk management and strategy in the group that is now DnB NOR since 1990. He has previous work experience from Elkem AS and the consultancy company Iko Strategy. Christian Grøm has a business degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
In connection with the change of management within Risk Management, certain other organizational adjustments will be implemented. Operations, including Back Office, Settlements and Documentation, will be transferred to the Treasury Department led by Oliver Siem. At the same time this entity will change name to Capital Markets.
